Laptop in the shop...AGAIN.

My laptop, EVE, is having trouble with her graphics card, for the third time.  As in, her graphics card has already been replaced twice, and is about to be replaced a third time.  I found my bill of sale from when I bought her though, so I can bring her to the shop in Israel and they will honor the US warranty.

Why am I telling you about this?  Mostly to warn you.  EVE's broken graphics card is a Radeon (as were the previous two).  And while Apple no longer uses this brand of graphics card in their laptops, I bet that some PC manufacturers still do.  So, for all you PC users, don't get a computer with a Radeon card, those things are junk!

In other news, I have a new job doing graphic design and animation! Which is why it is so urgent that I get EVE repaired.  WALL-E still works, but his battery is non-functional and he's getting rather slow in his old age, so not the optimal environment for doing processor-heavy tasks like rendering animations.
