Stripey Blue Laptop Case

My BF got a new laptop recently. He also needed a new case for it, because his old laptop case wasn't wide enough to accommodate his new laptop's width. And neither he nor I could find a case online that was both the right kind and large enough for a 17-inch laptop. So I offered to make him a custom one. It ended up being a joint project between the two of us, which was lucky, because some of the sewing required an extra pair of hands. Not to mention that I needed him to keep me from going crazy when the sewing machine wasn't cooperating...
